Traditional vs Technical

What makes a good toy? Narrative? Interaction? The ability to promote imagination? The amount of flashing lights and noises it makes? The way it keeps the child entertained and focused for hours? However has the way children think changed? I remember having a Tamagotchi. Just like the one pictured. There was something so exciting about them they could go round to their friends for tea! and they died if you didn't look after them properly. They even pooped. Great! I wish I still had it, because now they are worth a small fortune. They kicked off the screen based games that are so popular today. But then you start to ask. Does this encourage children to use their imaginations less? The same amount of fun could still be had with a normal doll, teddy or puppet. They can also go rou...

90's kids programmes

Cartoons and T.v programmes in the 90's ( when i was little ) have changed a lot compared to the children's cartoons today. Looking back at the cartoons i used to watch brings back great memories, many of these shows are not on T.v anymore. For example..  Johnny bravo   An American animated t.v series starring a muscular young man named Johnny bravo who likes to think of himself as a bit of a womanizer. Typical plots involve trying to get a woman that he had targeted to try and fall in love with him. Personally i thought the best bits were at then end when the woman knocked him back in various funny ways. Premiered on cartoon network on July 7, 1997 and ended August 27, 2004. Sabrina The Teenage Witch One of my favorites! I loved watching this programme with all the dramas that came with learning new spells and being a witch in high school. A very fun magical programme. September 27 , 1996 - April 24, 2003 Sailor Moon Not to sure...
