Rebecca's Easter Gift Ideas

Image
Hello guys, it's me again, Rebecca.  Today is my last day at TOYDAY. I'm really sad about this. First I have to say thank you for the great time . . . !!! But now I want to talk about few toys in this shop.  I want to begin with something for Easter . . . because think about it's not a long time until Easter ! ! ! The Wooden Egg Tower It is a fun twist on a hammer and ball game.  Product information:  Knock the colourful eggs through the wooden tower and out the hole with the wooden chicken hammer.   And also for Easter . . .      Bunny Easter Egg Basket You can put the eggs into the basket, once you have to find some . . . :- )       Chirping Easter Chick   A fluffy Easter chick which makes a chirping sound when it's feet are pressed. Egg Bouncy Ball A rubber egg! ! ! Great fun at Easter as well . . . :-)      ...

Easter Madness

Well the sales that were held in our shops over the Easter holidays were an over whelming success and I am sure many people have bought some absolute bargains for themselves. As I thought the wooden tree house was very popular and I do believe they were all sold. Several customers were buying one of each of the wooden police car, ambulance and fire engine and putting them away for Christmas and who can blame them. We still have some of the items that were in the sale in stock and even at the normal price they are excellent value for money. Over the Easter weekend Looe were hoping to have markets stalls in the Rose Garden and by the Guildhall but I had only seen a couple stalls there each day when I walked by. This was going to be a tester to see if the idea would work through the summer season so I am not sure how successful this might be. At the moment the town is a lot quieter as the schools are all back to normal and maybe just as well as the weather is more like November than April...

Easter Weekend

Image
With all the schools on holiday from Friday we are expecting it to start getting busy in Looe from this weekend. Easter is now just over a week away as well and it would be great if this unusually warm weather for this time of the year carried on until then. There are plans in the town to hold a new outdoor market which should be ready for the main se ason, but there is going to be a trial run over the four days of the Easter bank holiday weekend. The idea organised by the East Looe Town Trust is to give a boost to the town centre by having a variety of market stalls in the Rose Garden, Wishing Well and the open space beside the Guildhall. Our Looe shop will be open over the Easter Weekend as usual so do pop in and have a browse amongst our traditional and classic toys.
