The Game Boy is an 8-bit handheld video game device developed and manufactured by Nintendo. It was released in Japan on April 21, 1989, in North America in August 1989, and in Europe on September 28, 1990, meaning that it’s anniversary of its first release was on Monday!! It is the first handheld console in the Game Boy line, and was created by Gunpei Yokoi and Nintendo Research & Development.   Some of the games the Game Boy offered were: Super Mario Land Alleyway Baseball Yakuman Tetris Tennis   When the Game Boy was first released it was released into Japan. It is here that all 300,000 units of stock were sold within the first two weeks. Founded in 1930 by Herman Fisher, Irving Price, Price's illustrator-artist wife Margaret Evans Price, and Helen Schelle, the name Fisher-Price was established by combining two of the three names.  Early toys were made of heavy steel parts and ponderosa pine, which resisted splintering and held up well to heavy use.  Some people collect stamps, stickers, model figurines etc and some ( as it happens, like myself ) collect rubber ducks. Be it plain yellow ducks, large ducks, small ducks, flashing ducks or decorative ducks their all fantastic! These are beautifully hand made in the UK using 100% cotton and hollow fiber filling. On close inspection the attention to detail is the undeniable proof of the level of quality craftsmanship. The kids absolutely love them, just goes to show that some things never change, the classics are always the best. There is a large Rag Doll which sells for £20.99, she measures approx 60cm she has blond bunches made of 100% wool. Fans, the oldest accessories still going strong

This has been one of the hottest summers for the last decade and the good old fashioned hand fan has been a god send! The weather has been so humid and hot that on my handy silk fan has been my most important 'must have' accessory in my bag. Not only is a silk fan unbeatable at quickly cooling you down but it looks beautiful too! They can be found in an infinite amount of designs and colours so you can either get one that blends in with your outfit or it can be a statement piece to top off any image! One wasn't enough for me, I had to have the green, the red and the white one! I have fallen so in love with these that I decided to do some research and learn more about them.
