90's kids programmes

Cartoons and T.v programmes in the 90's ( when i was little ) have changed a lot compared to the children's cartoons today. Looking back at the cartoons i used to watch brings back great memories, many of these shows are not on T.v anymore. For example..

 Johnny bravo

An American animated t.v series starring a muscular young man named Johnny bravo who likes to think of himself as a bit of a womanizer. Typical plots involve trying to get a woman that he had targeted to try and fall in love with him. Personally i thought the best bits were at then end when the woman knocked him back in various funny ways.
Premiered on cartoon network on July 7, 1997 and ended August 27, 2004.

Sabrina The Teenage Witch

One of my favorites! I loved watching this programme with all the dramas that came with learning new spells and being a witch in high school. A very fun magical programme.
September 27 , 1996 - April 24, 2003

Sailor Moon

Not to sure how popular this one was but i absolutely LOVED it! I would be up every morning at half 7 waiting for it to come on. Sailor moon, along with the other girls in the the picture above were referred to as "Sailor scouts" or "Guardians"  they protected the world from evil. I was fascinated with their long hair and pretty outfits, everything about the characters and the t.v series in general was pretty. This is a Japanese Production, im unsure as to when it started and finished, but i think it ended around 2003.

The oldest one i can remember watching is Bananas in Pajamas.

The theme tune for the beginning of the show used to give me the creeps. It still does a little bit now. Not sure why. Its an Australian t.v show that premiered 20 July 1992 and from what i understand is still going today.

I think that shows back in the 90's were possibly simpler than today's, maybe more realistic (some) and just generally more interesting than some that i have seen today
